A Little Night Music

Fellows' Garden, Oxford, OX1 4AW
The Eglesfield Musical Society are proud to present Stephen Sondheim’s Tony award-winning musical A Little Night Music from 22nd-25th May. Set in 1900 Sweden, A Little Night Music explores the tangled web of affairs centred around actress Desiree Armfeldt and the men who love her. Strangely weaving through explorations of old age, loss and misplaced affection alongside lighthearted romantic comedy, Sondheim's musical brings theatrical extremities into parallel with each other in a performance that manages to be both heartbreaking and hilarious. Join us for some of Sondheims' best-loved music in the beautiful Fellows' Garden of Queen's College.
