BBC Ghost Stories For Christmas

Whistle And I'll Come To You (1968)

Lost Hearts (1973)

Q&A with author and folk-horror expert Howard David Ingham

In 1968, M R James' bone-chilling story Oh, Whistle And I'll Come To You, My Lad was adapted for the BBC's Omnibus series. Throughout the 70s and early 80s the BBC Ghost Story was a must-watch for millions of viewers - terrifying tales of ancient spirits and dark forces.

To celebrate 50 years of BBC Ghost Stories we're screening two of the best episodes and will then be hosting a Q&A with Howard David Ingham, author of We Don't Go Back: A Watcher's Guide to Folk Horror. Howard will be signing copies of his book on the night.

Advance tickets £7.50 / £6 (conc) - door sales +50p

6:30pm doors for 7:30pm start.

Snowcat Cinema does not screen adverts before the feature.  There are usually one or two trailers for films that will be shown soon but we encourage people to arrive promptly for the advertised start time.

Refunds will only be provided if the screening does not go ahead.
