Please join us as exciting young local jazz talent Ciaran Roberts Osterberg performs at Inchyra alongside an incredible line up of internationally acclaimed jazz musicians. The jazz talent stepping up to play at Inchyra on this special night is growing by the day and Ciaran will now be joined by guitarist Malcolm MacFarlane and saxophonist Gordon McNeil. Gathering together for one night only at Inchyra, this specially created programme of jazz, interspersed with a bit of soul and Latin music, will immerse you in the spirit of New York jazz, paying homage to legends such as Charlie Parker, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis and Chick Corea.

Dundee born Ciaran suffered terrible bullying at school, following a diagnosis of autism, so he often took to the music rooms to escape. Incredibly, over the years, he has developed into an exceptional multi-instrumentalist and singer, so much so that he has now been offered a place at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the world’s premier music schools with alumni including greats like Quincy Jones, Mike Stern, Tommy Smith and John Meyer.

Ciaran has already raised nearly £40,000 of the annual £55,000 costs of attending Berklee. He wrote to us a couple of months ago and we were so impressed by his achievements that we very much want to do what we can to help him fulfil his dream of studying at Berklee. As word of this fundraiser has spread, the show has grown and grown as jazz musicians from across Scotland join the line-up. We will be donating proceeds from this show to help Ciaran get to Berklee.
