Our music production courses are aimed at anyone who has an interest in learning more about producing music – attendees do not need to be able to play an instrument. If they have a passion for music and are keen to find out more about music technology or producing then they will enjoy this course. Students will develop skills in writing, arranging, recording, mixing and mastering music and will be able to take home their work upon completion.
The July course takes place 29 - 31 July 2019 and will cover Recording and Mixing.
- Learn about microphones and mic placement
- Using a mixing desk
- Record different instruments and vocals
- Understand audio wave forms
- Mix different instruments together
Taking place at the fully refurbished Scott Music Centre at Queen Anne's School in Caversham, participants will benefit from the use of brand new equipment in the centre's Mac Suite.
Full details will be available on our website by mid-June.
