King John's House, Romsey, SO51 8BT
Wed 1st May 2019
Architectural illustration is about the illustrating buildings and the built environment and how buildings are seen in context. This talk examines the subject and its legacy from the great watercolour artists and draughtsmen of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries to contemporary illustration. From his standpoint as a traditional architectural illustrator, Peter also looks at the illustrator’s role in broad terms and how architectural design is presented in the public domain.  Peter Jarvis is an award winning artist and illustrator specialising in architectural illustration for use in the publishing, advertising and building sectors
