Charity Open Day - 'Atonement' Ten Years On
You are invited to a Charity Open Day at Stokesay Court, near Ludlow, Shropshire SY7 9BD, film location of 'Atonement', released 10 years ago in September 2007. It was based on the best selling book by Ian McEwan and starred Keira Knightley, James McAvoy, Saoirse Ronan and Benedict Cumberbatch. 'Atonement' was nominated for 7 Oscars and won the BAFTA Best Film Award.
The event is raising funds for charities Alzheimer's Research UK and Signal - building deaf friendly communities. Tour the grounds with their many 'Atonement' locations such as the lake, river, grotto, fountain and lawns. Visit the house and see the Great Hall and 'Atonement' exhibits and have tea and cake in the Dining Room.
Admission £10 per person, accompanied under 16s free. Advance bookings only, no tickets available on the day.

A limited number of short 'Atonement' house tours tickets are available to see some of the bedrooms, the statue from the fountain in the film, the Drawing Room and the Library/Snooker Room. £6 per person aged 12 and over, under 12s free, available to holders of general admission tickets and accompanying children only. Book soon to avoid disappointment.
