A walk that takes us to the summit and to the northern end of the Long Mynd via Townbrook Valley, Pole Bank and Wild Moor. A circuitous route takes us to the mysterious Wildmoor Pool where Teal, our smallest wild duck, is a visitor. Crossing the Portway we return via Plush Hill, affording splendid views of the Stretton Hills. We return on lanes and footpaths back to Cardingmill Valley to have tea and cake at the National Trust cafe. Please make sure you bring a packed lunch, snacks ad plenty to drink. We encourage car-sharing: please see booking details for further information.
