Cooking with Elvis

When an Elvis impersonator is paralysed in a car crash, his wife and daughter are forced to cope with the aftermath. Part knockabout farce, part cookery course, part philosophical investigation, this play is a provocative and outrageously funny look at disability while enjoying the three greatest pleasures in the world sex, food and Elvis. This black comedy from Lee Hall (War Horse, Billy Elliot, The Pitmen Painters) was a smash hit when it premiered at Live Theatre, Newcastle in 1998; come see what all the fuss is about.
