Thomas is waiting.
Waiting for a train to arrive.
Waiting for an opportunity.
Waiting for a moment to express who he truly is.
Waiting to change his life forever.
It’s fair to say, Thomas isn’t very well.
Thought-provoking, chilling, sometimes funny, this is a play which explores the darker recesses of the human condition. It is a meditation on the nature of control – how we control ourselves and how we are controlled by others, it is an examination of identity and an investigation into the violence that lies beneath the surface of a society we call ‘civil’.
Winner of the ‘Best Theatre Production’ at the Buxton Fringe Festival and, after a sell-out run, All Things Considered Theatre are excited to bring ‘Waiting Room to the New Adelphi Theatre.
