Men's Voices Panel Talk - How do gender norms impact mental health?

Sat 16th February 2019 1:30PM
The Witham, The Witham, 3 Horse Market, DL212 8LY
Building on the exhibition theme, join us for a thought-provoking Panel Talk discussion on how mental health can be affected by gender norms such as the term masculinity. Or is mental health gender neutral?

Speakers Professor Brendan Gough – who specialises in masculinity and its impact on men’s health and lifestyle - and best-selling author, award-winning mental health blogger, campaigner and keynote speaker Claire Eastham promise to bring interesting angles to the debate.

Following the Panel Talk, Durham based Gong-Fu Poets founder, Tony Gadd hosts a creative writing workshop allowing you to explore your thoughts on gender norms in the North East.

Tickets £5 and £4 concession via The Witham box office.
