BAM: Babies’ Academy of Music 11.45am

Newhampton Arts Centre, West Midlands, WV1 4AN
Mon 1st July 2019
BAM: Babies’ Academy of Music is an event that is run and performed by singer Sam Frankie Fox and multi-instrumentalist Ricardo Rocha. They create a warm and interactive performance for babies, their families and friends, that celebrates music by sharing a host of instruments, styles, gentle movements and stimulating sounds from around the world. There’s harp, accordion, guitars of all shapes and sizes and much much more.
This is a rare opportunity to attend a live musical performance where babies are welcome to bounce, babble and crawl about. The event has a relaxed atmosphere designed around the needs of you and your baby, with floor level seating (and chairs available), opportunities to join in, or just sit and relax and let the beautiful sounds wash over you.

‘Really beautiful show. My 13 month old was mesmerized and was doing her own version of singing and dancing along by the end! Not your usual baby session.

So lovely to be able to see brilliant professional musicians playing beautiful
music with my little one. Been a while since I’ve been able to go to a concert, so it was lovely for me too.’
Audience member.

Aimed at babies 0-18 months (older siblings also welcome)
Limited spaces, pre-booking is advised.
