We invite parents, family and friends to recognise the achievements of the CCF by joining us at the Annual Mess Dinner at 4.30pm for 5.00pm on the evening of Thursday 26 April 20`18 in the Main School Hall. The Dinner represents the pinnacle of our annual calendar, and is a military tradition which will provide us the opportunity to recognise the efforts of our CCF cadets and others who have assisted and contributed to making this year a success. It is especially significant this year as the Mess Dinner will recognise the Inauguration of the Royal Navy Section of the CCF. There will be a slideshow, toasts and a small number of speeches following the meal. Cdre. Elford will be our guest of honour and join a number of other important guests.
Catering is provided by Fuud, a private catering company and will take the form of a three course meal. The cost of the meal will be £36.00 per head and will include drinks.
Service personnel are invited to wear Mess Dress and medals may be worn. For others the priority of dress is as follows: dinner jacket (‘Black Tie’) for men (or lounge suit if ‘Black Tie’ is unavailable) or equivalent for ladies. Cadets are invited to wear the same orders of dress, but a clean, neat School uniform is acceptable in the absence of an alternative, with the exception of cadets in the Upper Sixth who are expected to wear ‘Black Tie’.
