Not satisfied with bringing you two of the hottest names in rock for this event, we have added Southern Rockers Sons of Liberty to the line - up
Ripped jeans, cowboy boots, long hair and make-up, Collateral are a band that look and sound like a stadium rock band. Originally known as the Angelo Tristan Band, frontman Angelo and bass player Jack Bentley-Smith formed the nucleus of the band for five years. They worked tirelessly to grow the act, the fanbase and the bands profile. In true rock and roll style, the ride hasn't been easy for this four-piece, but their sheer grit and determination have seen them overcome obstacles and go from strength to strength. The past few years have been no exception, but, with the addition in 2018 of new members Todd Winger (guitar) and Ben Atkinson (drums) the band dynamics changed and they went into the studio to record. The fruits of their labour came in the form of their debut single'Midnight Queen' which was released in May 2018 and was added to the playlists for Planet Rock, HRH, Midlands Metalheads and many others. They followed this with an EP release, 4 Shots, and recent single release, Lullaby, each with the same success as the first single.
Piston are a British five-piece rock ‘n’ roll engine made up of four members from the Midlands greased with a vocal roar from the south; which, when put together and fired up produce a no-nonsense sound not to be reckoned with!
The band released the second single ‘Rainmaker’ from the upcoming album on Friday 31st May. The single was produced by Dan Swift and remixed by Romesh Dodangoda. Their first single ‘One More Day’ received airplay on BBC Radio 2’s Rock Show with Johnnie Walker, Planet Rock and many more.
Piston will release their long awaited self-titled debut album on Friday 13th September 2019. The album was recorded at Silk Mill Studios in Newcastle Under Lyme and produced by Dan Swift (Iggy Pop, Depeche Mode) and singles remixed by Romesh Dodangoda (Motörhead, Bring Me The Horizon).
