As the Crow Flies

Trowbridge Town Hall, Wiltshire, BA14 8EQ
Wed 12th April 2017 7:30PM

Based on a true story of a woman who struck up an unlikely friendship with a wounded bird. It features live music, original songs, great drama – and a crow called Alfie. Two actors perform Beth and Alfie’s unusual story, accompanied by live music composed especially for this play by Dom Coyote. A funny, moving and timeless story of our endless fascination with birds – especially clever, tricksy, knowing ones.

A heart-warming story of friendship from Hattie Naylor, award-winning playwright and adapter of The Night Watch for the Royal Exchange Theatre and The Diary of Samuel Pepys for BBC Radio 4. This play has been commissioned specifically for rural touring and has been developed with a group of village hall promoters over 18 months.
