Trapped in ‘the world’s largest open-air prison’ and ruled by war, a young generation is drawn to the beaches. Sick of occupation and political gridlock, they find their own personal freedom in the waves of the Mediterranean. This heartfelt and award-winning documentary gives us an alternative insight into life in Palestine, through the world of Gaza’s surfing enthusiasts and reveals a formidable spirit of resilience.

Prior to the main film there will be a screening of a short film by local director and producer Samiha Abdeldjebar. Samiha will then lead an informal discussion following the both films.
