Described by The Guardian as a ‘fast-rising British talent’ and featured as a ‘Rising Star’ in BBC Music Magazine, Anna Huntley was awarded the Wigmore Hall/Independent Opera Vocal Fellowship at the Wigmore Hall/Kohn Foundation International Song Competition 2011; 3rd Prize at the Das Lied Competition in Berlin and 2nd Prize in the London Handel Singing Competition. She was a scholar at the Royal College of Music International Opera School and upon graduating, was selected for the Young Classical Artist Trust (YCAT) and subsequently mentored by Angelika Kirchschlager in Vienna. An outstanding recitalist, Anna is a regular performer at prestigious venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Wiener Musikverein, Opéra Lille, Warsaw Philharmonic Hall and Kammermusiksaal at the Berliner Philharmonie.
Simon Lepper is a currently professor of collaborative piano and a vocal repertoire coach at the Royal College of Music. Since 2003 he has been an official accompanist for the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition. Performance highlights have included his debut at Carnegie Hall with mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill and recitals with Angelika Kirchschlager in Verbier and at the Wigmore Hall.
